  Responsibilities:
  
  • Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, and adherence to accounting principles.
    
  • Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts, and resolving any discrepancies.
    
  • Monitoring and reporting on the company's financial performance, offering valuable insights to aid decision-making.
    
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and implement best practices.
    
  • Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
    
  • Conducting internal audits and coordinating with external auditors as needed.
    
  • Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and software.
    
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and managing tax-related activities.
    Requirements:
    
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
      
    • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role in the agriculture industry.
      
    • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
      
    • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
