PURPOSE:Assist in area of accounting.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Four-year Accounting Degree required from an accredited College/University.Three to five years of experience in general accounting environment is required.Ideal candidate needs to possess solid accounting knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Bank Reconciliation, and General Ledger Reconciliations.Able to follow instructions.Ten-key proficient required along with the ability to operate other office equipment.Good verbal and written communication skills.Must be able to work overtime and some weekends. Must be analytical, organized and detail oriented.Must possess good people skills and have professional appearance.Must be able to travel to satellite facilities as required.Remote work not available for this position.Must be able to read, write and speak English.Must have a valid driver s license with a clean DMV driving record.Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen and background check.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Prepare and analyze monthly financial information, record monthly general ledger entries,reconcile general ledger accounts, daily cash receipts, reconcile bank accounts, and inventoryreconciliations.Must be proficient at multi company consolidation entries and intercompanyeliminations.Assist with monthly financial statement closing including statement of cash flow, andmulti company balance sheet and financial statement.Interact with Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Grower Accounting Departments.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to remain in a stationary position throughout much of the working day. Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment. Ability to occasionally move about inside the office.
