production demand supporting aircraft landing and cabin systems
programs. \n At Crane Aerospace & Electronics, this machinist plays
a critical role in producing precision aerospace components used in
braking and actuation systems installed on aircraft worldwide.

Work You’ll Be Doing \n In this role, you will: \n \n Set up and
operate 4- and 5-axis CNC milling machines \n Read and interpret
work orders, blueprints, and manufacturing instructions \n Load,
run, and edit CNC programs at the machine \n Select tooling, set
offsets, and verify workholding \n Validate raw materials prior to
machining \n Monitor machining operations and detect issues such as
tool wear or vibration \n Replace worn tooling and adjust
feeds/speeds as needed \n Hold tight aerospace tolerances and
verify dimensions \n Perform first-article and in-process
inspections \n Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, height
gages, and other precision instruments \n Apply GD&T standards
to ensure conformance \n Troubleshoot machining issues and maintain
quality documentation \n Communicate shift-to-shift status updates
to maintain production continuity \n \n Machines, Controls &

For Required: \n \n 2 years of CNC milling experience \n Experience
with 4- or 5-axis CNC mills \n Ability to read blueprints and apply
GD&T \n Strong understanding of tooling, offsets, and setup
procedures \n Experience using precision inspection equipment \n
Ability to detect machining irregularities (tool wear, vibration,
sound changes) \n Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented \n
U.S. Person (ITAR requirement) \n \n Preferred (Not Required): \n
\n Experience with Mazak, Fadal, or Toyoda machines \n Experience
with Mazatrol or Fanuc controls \n Understanding of G-Code editing

(DOE) \n Pay Notes: \n \n Level II typically falls in the mid-range
\n Level III at the upper range based on advanced setup and
troubleshooting ability \n Overtime paid per state and federal
