Job Description:
Ready to lead a team that tackles industrial challenges? Want to
take your Engineering expertise to the next level to work on tough
projects that will make a huge impact on the Petrochemical
Industry? This role would require a person to live or relocate to
Bakersfield, CA.
Parsons is now hiring experienced Process Engineers with a desire
to work on Oil & Gas and Petrochemical projects. Parsons extensive
experience in this field, combined with your engineering knowledge,
will propel your career forward with opportunity for advancement
with top performance. We need our Senior Process Engineers to be
enthusiastic, working in a highly flexible, team oriented
environment. They need to have exceptional communication,
analytical, and management skills. In this role you will complete a
wide variety of difficult engineering assignments, applying
engineering techniques and analyses focused on petrochemical
process engineering.
You will apply advanced engineering techniques and analyses which
will involve various engineering software's, such as MS Excel,
Word, and PowerPoint, plus process modeling in Aspen HYSYS.
Willingness to travel to the client location for field data
gathering and other on-site activities is expected.
Responsibilities:
Perform complex engineering tasks and particularly important
engineering work efficiently and accurately.
Extract engineering information from CAD drawings. Prepare
engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates,
and designs.
Complete a variety of assignments such as calculations, process
models, drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for
procurement and construction purposes.
Frequently interface with other Engineering disciplines as well as
other departments.
Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
Review supplier drawing submittals and perform technical bid
analyses.
Provide technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and
lower level Engineers working on the same project.
May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on
engineering related matters.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may
be appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or related
field) and 10+ years of related work experience.

Salary Range:
$79,100.00 - $161,400.00
