**This position is remote/work from home.The purpose of Dignity Health Management Services Organization (Dignity Health MSO) is to build a system-wide integrated physician-centric, full-service management service organization structure. Other benefits include Paid Time Off and Sick Leave.Position Summary:The role of a Manager, Business Analytics is to analyze, interpret, and report financial and operating data and non-financial performance information, which may include cost analytics, market analytics, profitability analytics, and geographic performance assessments by business unit. This position will play a critical role in linking business activities and strategic initiatives with financial reporting and be an essential part of the day-to-day and long-term operations of the business. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with business executives, operational and other finance teams as well. This position will create systems and models and provide the analytics of proposed ventures and work cross-functionally with the executive team, decision support, and operations units to provide comprehensive evaluation of existing, new, and proposed business ventures. This includes forecasting revenue and changes in expense. Evaluate financial reports such as income statements, cash flow statements and balance sheets and determine stability of company's finances and impact on business operations.Responsibilities may include:- Assist with coordination of administrative aspects of projects, which may include such areas as: budgeting, scheduling, month-end processing, project accounting, reporting, cash management and participates in monthly proactive project reviews.- Works with executive team in the business decision making process by providing financial modeling, forecasting, and analytics.- Generate reports summarizing financial data for use by executives, managers and other stakeholders when making business decisions.- Assists in the decision-making processes for various business needs.- Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions. Identify, analyze and monitor issues that affect profitability, growth, and return on investment.- Prepare forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance, general business conditions and other related areas and develop graphs and charts to clearly show data trends and projections.- Direct preparation of studies, reports, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, statistical reports, and business forecasts.- Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.- Support periodic processes, including quarterly forecasting, long range planning, and annual budgeting, along with related coordination and communication to business partners and executives.- Ad Hoc Analytics - Provide financial analytics & recommendations of business initiatives Participate in special projects where a finance perspective is required or requested by management.- Design and implement flash/dashboard reports and design corporate metrics and financial models for tracking and performance measurement.- Create tools or systems, including databases and spreadsheets, to improve financial data analytics and reporting.- Facilitate monthly reporting of financial results and communicate to senior leadership.- Participate in and own portions of the monthly close processes for assigned business areas.- Lead the budgeting process for assigned areas; define budget guidelines, analyze business spending, evaluate spending and investment trade-offs, and assist to align business driver assumptions across business groups.- Provide input into and/or implement accounting and compliance policies and procedures to ensure that business controls are being followed.- Implement and automate any financial processes though MS tools and collaborate with reporting/system teams to reduce inefficiencies.- Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the fields of industrial technology, business, finance, and economic theory.- Monitor fundamental economic, industrial, and corporate developments through the analytics of information obtained from financial publications and services, investment banking firms, government agencies, trade publications, company sources, and personal interviews.- Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field from an accredited college required. 3 or more years performing business reporting and financial analytics, cost accounting, budgeting, and/or forecasting. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field Masters of Business Administration in Finance from an accredited college preferred.
