Job Description:
NEED TO BE FULLY BILINGUAL: ENGLISH/SPANISH Description:Work
closely and communicate well with the Human Resources Director and
Company Owners.Ensures the organization's compliance with Federal,
State, and local employment laws and regulations.Assist with the
development and administration of various human resources plans and
procedures for all company personnel. Provides support and guidance
to HR staff. Review the progress of work in the HR coordinator
functions. Ensure proper distribution of assignments and
responsibilities.Ensures all company HR policies are applied fairly
and consistently.Facilitates or provides training to the workforce
on company policies and procedure.Supports the strategic
operational hiring decisions, recruitment, and terminations to
ensure effectiveness throughout all general and administrative
operations.Develop and/or update forms to maintain compliance with
labor laws (FMLA, applications, evaluation forms, etc.).Recommend
innovative approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual
improvement in efficiency of department and services
performed.Manages the staffing process effort for all open
positions including exempt, nonexempt and temporary
workers.Collaborates with departmental managers to understand
skills and competencies required for open positions.Review and
maintain job descriptions up to date and compliant with all local,
state, and federal regulations, update as needed.Conducts or
acquires background checks and employee eligibility
verifications.Develop training material to ensure employees
understand their job responsibilities.Investigates employee
relation issues such as employee complaints, disciplinary meetings,
terminations, investigations, harassment allegations and civil
rights complaints.Handles employment-related inquiries from
applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or
sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Lead company safety
program.Review existing safety training programs and curriculum and
modify as necessary to comply with local, state, and federal
regulations.Facilitate safety training to comply with local, state,
and federal regulations.Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance
with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education,
and work assessments. This may include anti-harassment training,
professional licensure, and aptitude exams and
certifications.Administers leaves of absences (FMLA, CFRA, ADA,
PFL, PDL and COVID-19). Perform other duties as
