Responsibilities Position Summary:Is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, Joint Commission and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies. Is responsible to support the Nurse Manager/Director of the Nursing Float Pool to manage and coordinate clinical operations in order to provide quality direct patient care to pediatric, adult and geriatric population. Ensures all aspects of documentation, care planning and patient care delivery to meet regulatory requirements. Responsible for fostering a positive interactive team milieu. Facilitates optimal environment to support orientation, competency validation. #
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

• Required to float to Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, and ED.
• 1-2 years of previous acute care experience required or hired through the RN Versant program.
• Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications.
• Bedside Dysphasia Screen Competency.
• Care of Stroke patient competency.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Current CA RN Lic. BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
• New grads within 1 year of hire will have ACLS and NIH Stroke certification. Within 18 months will have PALS.
  Preferred Qualifications:
  • BSN preferred
  • Previous critical care experience preferred.
