We're looking for someone to join our team as a Sr. Nuclear Medicine Technologist who: Administers radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases, using radioisotope equipment. Administers medical substances for imaging or other procedures. Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Coordinates patient flow and maintains procedure quality control. Provides clinical care efficiently and effectively using a high level of technical and organizational skills as well as critical thinking ability. Essential Functions: Assigns personnel to particular patients and patient care activities based on independent assessment of effective skill and ability utilization, while working to equalize assigned personnel work load.Prepares patient and radioactive isotopes for administration and performs procedures.Screens and recommends candidates for hire, promotion, discipline and other administrative actions.Performs other job-related duties as assigned. You'll be successful with the following qualifications: Education: CALIFORNIA AND HAWAIIDiploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine: RequiredBachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent: RequiredOREGONDiploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine: RequiredBachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent: Preferred Work Experience: Three years nuclear medicine experience: Required Required Licenses/Certifications: CALIFORNIA AND HAWAIIVenipuncture certification: RequiredCALIFORNIARegistered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine: PreferredCertified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) from NMTCB: RequiredOREGONRegistered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) from NMTCB: RequiredOregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Nuclear Medicine Technologist: RequiredHAWAIIRegistered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine: PreferredCertified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) from NMTCB: RequiredState license: Required Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
