Responsibilities:
Position Summary:Provide technical pharmacy services, including preparation and distribution of medications and pharmaceutical products, maintenance of inventory and equipment, and filling of Omnicell orders and Medstations on the floors under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. -

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:Current California Board of Pharmacy Technician License..Education required to obtain and maintain licensure. I.V. admixture and aseptic technique for compounding of I.V. medications and also Omnicell knowledge pertaining to filling, discrepancies, and report running are preferred. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Preferred Qualifications:Hospital pharmacy technician preferred, however not required. - - - - - - I.V. admixture and aseptic technique for compounding - of I.V. medications adn also Omnicell knowledge pertaining to filling, discrepancies, and report running are preferred.
