DescriptionJOB TITLE: Healthcare Recruiter
In this challenging and fast paced role, the Healthcare Recruiter will execute recruiting strategies, promote employment marketing materials, conduct interviews with Healthcare professionals and interact with healthcare professionals in multiple markets. The Healthcare Recruiter will specialize in filling employment needs throughout the hospital and is versed in the technical aspects of nursing, specialized nursing roles, nursing management, ancillary services disciplines and modalities, and other support roles throughout the hospital. In this full cycle recruiting role, the Healthcare Recruiter will have the opportunity to drive many aspects of the job. This includes but is not limited to routine recruiting events, management of nursing program relationships, promoting marketing & advertising, candidate sourcing as well as hands-on hiring leader consulting.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • 5 years progressively responsible experience in a human resources, recruiting or sourcing position.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or a related field
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

    GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

    • Attend meetings with the human resource management team and department managers to learn about, plan out and discuss the positions to be filled and what qualifications are needed for each opening
    • Demonstrate understanding of hospital administration and operations
    • Prioritizes requests with focus and urgency
    • Create job postings that are articulate, professional and attention-grabbing to attract the best candidates, posting these ads on various online and offline resources
    • Confirm proper approval and post requisitions in our ATS
    • Screen and meet with applicants to discuss the position and to screen them for suitability
    • Source candidates through networking, social media and other tactics to hunt out the top people to fill open positions
    • Serve as the liaison between the company and the candidates by handling phone calls, questions, managing candidate flow in the ATS and other details before and after interviews
    • Make job offers to applicants who pass screening and interview processes and are approved by management by providing them with an offer letter and discussing the benefits, requirements and details of the position
    • Process background checks and pre-employment drug screens
    • Maintain paperwork on applicants throughout the process and set up new human resource records for new hires
    • Coordinate and facilitate bi-weekly orientation of new hires including requesting IT/HRIS access, education modules for general orientation
    • Process changes of status for internal talent movement

      Bakersfield Heart Hospital is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our team members and patients. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.
