• Base salary (Commensurate with experience)

We're looking for a Pediatrician who:Board-certified Pediatrician who has experience working with children of all ages and various medical conditions. Our clinic is expanding, and as such, we are in need of a flexible, knowledgeable and compassionate physician who is seasoned in the care and well-being of children in our community. The successful candidate will accept patient referrals, provide primary medical care, consult with specialists, respond to pediatric emergencies and serve on hospital medical staff committees. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a warm, caring atmosphere where the health of our children is top priority. Essential Functions:
  • Shares in phone-triage responsibilities with other Physicians.
  • Clinic practice 40 hrs per week
  • on a scheduled basis, may be required to work at any satellite facility
  • Establishes and maintains affiliations and/or privileges with local hospital(s).
  • May assist the Chief Medical Officer in design, implementation, and evaluation of health care programs/protocols for patients and staff.
  • Required to supervise mid-level personnel, including RN s, NP's and Physicians Assistant's on-site and by telephone with outlying clinic sites.You will be successful with the following qualifications:
    • California Physician s License
    • DEA Certificate
    • BLS or ACLS certification
    • Professional clinical experience in physician's specialty.
    • Board Certification highly desirable.
    • Experience in EPIC is highly preferred
    • Interests in the research potential inherent in physician's specialty highly desirable.The city of Arvin is on it's 2nd hundred years!
