An award-winning and patient care centered hospital in the Mojave area is actively interviewing for a new Labor and Delivery Staff RN, offering a flexible range of day-shift or night-shift.This heavily decorated hospital has earned numerous awards for units throughout their facility, including the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) accreditation for its commitment to quality, and the honor of being announced one of the first hospitals in California to receive accreditation from Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Healthcare, Inc. The Labor and Delivery Staff RN will join an organization with an outstanding reputation in the community and across California. The Labor and Delivery Staff RN will report directly to the Nurse Manager of Maternal Services. This person will feel supported by their Manager, by the tenured charge nurses, and by the Patient Care Technicians, and Nurse Aides during every shift. This well developed Maternity Department consists of advanced and well manicured rooms, and an extremely supportive team of seasoned RNs. The Labor and Delivery Staff RN will join a department that is known for excellent patient care and playing a significant role during the happiest moment of a parents life.The Labor and Delivery Staff RN will provide outstanding patient care. This involves working closely with the patients care team, coaching the patient during delivery, and ensuring that all assessments and care is top of the line. In addition, the position requires collaboration with the patients themselves to assure that they are receiving the care they desire, and are comfortable during the birthing process. The Labor and Delivery Staff RN plays a critical role in the education of new mothers and must be able to create individualized care plans, and education tools.The Mojave area is known for some of the best sunsets in the country and warm sunny days.
