Is your wound care career calling?Who you are:An individual dedicated to creating Exceptional Patient Experiences with:A High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED); Associate's degree preferredCurrent Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certification in state of practiceGraduate of a Medical Assistant program approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Program (CAAHEP) or by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES)Passion for Wound Care, Wound Care experience preferred but not requiredAvailability to work Monday - Friday standard daytime business hoursAll regular U.S. Healogics team members must be at least 18 years of age (may vary by state law).What you'll gain:Positively impact patients' quality of life and see patients through their entire healing journeyComprehensive Clinical Wound Care TrainingDedicated Clinical Leadership ResourcesWhat you'll do:As a CMA, you'll provide and coordinate the delivery of clinical and non-clinical services under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider. Other responsibilities may include but aren't limited to:Assist the RN or LPN/LVN during the patient's intake/discharge processPerform hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO), training is providedCoordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient censusAssist the center's staff with clerical services handled by Front Office CoordinatorsFor more information contact Myles McGee at The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $21.60 - $25.40 / hour.
