Job Description:
Large well known Bakersfield Medical Group is seeking a full
time medical records clerk. As a Medical Records Clerk, you will be
working with compliance and developing a medical records pull list.
Experience in medical billing or back office dealing with medical
records preferred.
Duties Include:
-Requesting or pulling records; copy and prepare these records for
audit
-Track audit results and file completed audits on a routine
basis
-Record all statistics and prepare quarterly reports
-Prepare completed files for storage
-Work as a liaison and coordinate with Administrative and Medical
Staff to accomplish job duties
-Knowledge and understanding of MS Excel and HIPAA regulations
