  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Cardiac Tele nurse for a travel contract.
  • The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active ACLS, BLS and CA License.
  • *Please note: Travelers may be expected to float frequently.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 full years of experience
    • Hold an active ACLS, BLS and CA License
    • Must be able to multi-task
    • Have superb time management skills to be successful
    • Needs to know how to administer cardiac drips.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts/Hours: 12's; 7a - 7:30p/7p - 7:30a
      • Weekends: Every other weekend or equivalent of 4 weekend days in a 4 week schedule
      • Day Shift Weekend is Sat/Sun; Nights is Fri/Sat
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: MedSurg/TELE 5E
        • Certs: BLS, ACLS
        • Nurse Aides: Yes (can vary depending on census)
        • Charge Nurse: Yes
        • Shifts/Hours: 12's
        • Breaks: 1/2 hour break (clock-out); 3 - 15 min breaks per shift (CA Law)
        • Scrub Color: Navy blue
        • Vents: No
        • IV Team: No - ICU & ER can assist w/ hard IV sticks
        • RT 24/7: Yes
        • Pharmacy 24/7: Yes & Omnicell
        • Floating: Travel nurses float off the unit first. Float to MedSurg, all Tele units, and Burn ICU (caring for MSTele patients only). Brief orientation to MedSurg and Tele units.
          • Additional Details
          • Travelers may be expected to float frequently
          • CERNER REQUIRED
          • NO FIRST TIME TRAVELERS
