Job Description Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Bakersfield, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Unit: ICU - beds: 20 - Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Ratios: 1 to 1 or 1 to 2 - EMR: Cerner - Charge Nurse: Nurse Shift Manager or Charge Nurse Each Shift, try to have resource nurse . Yes - Call: If staff reduced, would be put on call - Shifts: 7a, 7p - Floating: ER, Tele or med surg -will be floated to sister facility - Mercy SW. - Floor specific orientation: Minimum 2 shifts plus one for Cerner - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Neuro, radical cancer surgeries, DaVinci, abdominal cases, urology cases, CVA, TPA, not a specific cardiac facility, so true cardiac needing intervention gets sent to memorial, small amount vascular surgery, respiratory failure, sepsis typically no peds, rotaprone, glycemic control, oncology patients - Additional Notes: Nurses will work both campuses but rare they would float mid shift; night shift minimum 2 yrs. experience for both campuses About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
