Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/15/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician Job Details: • Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM • Weekend call required from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (no weekday call) • Perform 5-10 scans/studies per day • Common imaging studies include: heart scans, HIDAs, GI bleeds, VQ scans, bone scans, renal scans, gastric emptying, sentinel node injections, lymph system studies, lexiscans, pulmonary scans, and thyroid scans • Work with Siemens "Symbia" equipment • Hospital experience required • No first-time travelers accepted • Manager interview required • Nuclear Medicine License required to submit • Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-N (or CT-NMTCB) • Scrub color: Teal (not provided by facility) • Use Cerner charting system • Acute care setting • Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments Facility: This healthcare organization provides comprehensive medical services with a dedicated nuclear medicine department that performs a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies.
