Administers medical substances for imaging or other procedures. Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Coordinates patient flow and maintains procedure quality control. Provides clinical care efficiently and effectively using a high level of technical and organizational skills as well as critical thinking ability. /n Job Requirements: /n/n Education and Work Experience: /n /n - Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine: Required /n - Five years' nuclear medicine experience: Required /n /n/n/n Licenses/Certifications: /n /n - State Nuclear Medicine License: Required in CA and HI /n - Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine OR Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist: Required in CA and OR /n - Venipuncture certification: Required in CA and HI /n - State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT): Required /n /n/n/n Facility Specific License/Certifications: /n /n - Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required /n - Venipuncture (IV) certification: Required /n - ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-NMT) or National Nuclear Med Tech (NMTCB): Required /n /n/n/n Essential Functions: /n /n - Assigns personnel to particular patients and patient care activities based on independent assessment of effective skill and ability utilization, while working to equalize assigned personnel work load. /n - Prepares patient and radioactive isotopes for administration and performs procedures. /n - Screens and recommends candidates for hire, promotion, discipline and other administrative actions. /n - Performs other job-related duties as assigned. /n /n/n/n Organizational Requirements: /n Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
