Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. An occupational
therapist is needed to support an elementary school setting in
Porterville, CA, on a contract basis for the current school year
(CSY). This role focuses on providing occupational therapy services
to one verbal autistic student, delivering targeted intervention
sessions of 20 minutes, three times per month. Key
Responsibilities: - Provide individualized occupational therapy
assessments and interventions tailored to the needs of the student.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate
therapeutic strategies within the classroom environment. - Monitor
progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to promote the
students functional skills and participation in school activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with
school district policies. Desired Skills and Experience: -
Licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT), with experience in
school-based settings preferred. - Knowledge of strategies and
interventions tailored to students on the autism spectrum. -
Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and
educational teams. - Strong communication and organizational
skills. Location: Porterville, California Setting: Elementary
School Duration: Current School Year (CSY) contract This
opportunity offers a focused, part-time commitment suited to
professionals skilled in pediatric occupational therapy and
school-based interventions, particularly working with students with

Compensation for this position ranges from $43.86 to $63.86.
