This role involves dispensing prescribed medications and ensuring customers receive accurate information about their use, with an emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service in a retail or long-term care setting. Location: Visalia, CA Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM (8.5 hours each day) Responsibilities: Accurately distribute medications prescribed by healthcare providers Provide detailed information to patients regarding medication use, side effects, and interactions Maintain a high standard of customer service to enhance patient care Desired Experience and Qualifications: Valid California Pharmacist license is required Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care pharmacy preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel patients This per diem role is ideal for pharmacists seeking flexibility and the opportunity to apply their expertise in a dynamic environment serving diverse patient needs.
