We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB Hospitalist to provide exceptional obstetric care in a dynamic hospital environment. This position offers the flexibility of 24-hour shifts, allowing you to balance professional fulfillment with personal priorities while supporting a busy Level III NICU and a comprehensive hospital delivery service. Required Skills Active medical license in California or eligibility to obtain one Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) Proven experience in obstetrics and inpatient hospital settings Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities Ability to manage multiple emergencies in a high-pressure environment Nice to Have Skills Experience working with residency programs or teaching settings Familiarity with pseudo laborist models or community-based OB services Basic knowledge of NICU protocols and care coordination Preferred Education and Experience MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school At least 2 years of clinical experience as an OB Hospitalist or in a similar inpatient obstetric role Prior experience in a Level III NICU environment is advantageous Other Requirements Willingness to work 24-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM starting 12/31/2025 Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Commitment to providing high-quality, emergency obstetric care in a community hospital setting Flexibility to provide backup support via community providers in case of emergencies This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated support team, enjoy competitive pay at $234.00 per hour, and benefit from comprehensive medical coverage, weekly pay via direct deposit, generous referral bonuses, and reimbursed travel and licensing costs.
