Shift with Variable Start Time (Monday - Friday); Call Rotation: 7
on 7 off Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Salary Range: $60 - $70 per
hour Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated
Interventional Radiology Technician to join our team in San Luis
Obispo, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in
interventional radiology procedures and be committed to providing
high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. This position
requires strong technical skills and the ability to work
collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Key
Responsibilities: Assist radiologists in performing interventional
radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Prepare
and maintain the interventional radiology suite, including
sterilization and setup of equipment. Operate imaging equipment,
including fluoroscopy and other radiographic modalities, during
procedures. Monitor patients' vital signs and conditions throughout
procedures, responding promptly to any changes. Ensure compliance
with safety protocols and regulations related to radiation
exposure. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed
and related patient information. Participate in quality assurance
activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications: Current California Radiologic Technologist License
with Fluoroscopy certification required. Minimum of 2 years of
experience in interventional radiology preferred. Strong knowledge
of interventional radiology techniques and protocols. Excellent
communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a
