Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 16 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Tele /n/n Job Details: /n • This is a Nurse Shift Manager position combining charge nurse, clinical mentor, and manager responsibilities /n• Provide on-shift leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care /n• Round on patients and address service or safety concerns /n• Serve as a resource for both clinical and interpersonal issues /n• Take charge nurse assignments as needed based on census and staffing levels /n• Support staff and promote a positive work environment /n• Work night shifts with every other weekend requirement /n• First to float when needed /n• Must have been charge RN in last assignment /n• No first-time travelers accepted /n• Manager interviews required /n• 3 weeks of orientation: 1st week classroom, following 2 weeks unit orientation /n• Overtime paid after 8 hours per day /n• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS - AHA or APEX /n• California nursing license required /n• Charting system: Cerner /n• BSN not required /n• Cancellation policy: Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment /n/n Facility: /n This acute care hospital provides comprehensive medical services to the community with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
