Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Bakersfield, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,618 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS - AHA or APEX Must-Have: - Charge RN experience in last assignment - No first-time travelers Description: This position is a blend of charge nurse, clinical mentor, and manager responsibilities. The clinician provides on-shift leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care. They support staff and promote a positive work environment. The clinician rounds on patients and addresses service or safety concerns. They serve as a resource for both clinical and interpersonal issues. The clinician will also take charge nurse assignments as needed, depending on census and staffing levels. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks. The hospital may also pay full hours for a particular shift in lieu of cancellation. The charting system used is Cerner.
