Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years. Requirements: • Candidates must have a California license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to read & interpret all cardiac rhythms. Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Post pacer, hemodialysis, no cardiac/surgical patients, new onset afib, or RVR. CP sent out. Stepdown from ICU, surgical patients, urology patients: Cystoscopy. Oncology patients would transfer if they have cardiac problems to be monitored. Rare ortho patients. Some correctional patients (federal not State), strokes, TBI, high acuity, heavy patients, a lot of patients with bedsores, about 1/3 from nursing homes, peg tubes, sepsis, etc… Required Credentials: RN jobs in the following units: Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, ED/ER, Endoscopy, any ICU/critical care, IR, LTAC ICU, Med-Surg/Tele, Tele , PACU, Stepdown/PCU are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. Weekend shifts for nights are Fri/Sat. Holidays: Travelers are expected to work into the perm staff holiday rotation schedule (1 major holiday & 1 minor holiday). Call requirements: must report within 30 mins if placed on stand by/call. Floating Requirements: Travelers are the 1st to float. Could possibly float between MSW & MHB because they are under the same license, travelers may float between the two. They would float to 2W MedSurg remote tele, MedSurg SW, some to ICU for tele MS hold, or ER holds. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1.
