OverviewBakersfield Memorial Hospital is a 426 bed acute care
medical center offering a full range of services including the
Sarvanand Heart and Brain Center, Grossman Burn Center at Memorial
Hospital, expanded maternity and family care, the Lauren Small
Childrenas Center, orthopedic services, wound care center, 24-hour

Responsible in supporting the Nurse Director and Department Manager
of the Pediatric Department to manage and coordinate clinical
operations to provide patient care to the pediatric population.
Ensures all aspects of documentation, care planning and patient
care delivery meets regulatory requirements. Responsible for
fostering and facilitating a positive interactive team and optimal
environment for all activities ensuring orientation, competency and
quality patient care.
- 1-2 years of acute med-surg experience required or hired
through the RN Versant program.
- Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and
- Ability to work with pediatric patients of all ages (i.e., from
infancy to late teenage years), parents/caregivers and members of
the healthcare team.
- CA RN and current BLS and PALS required. PALS required within 6
months of hire or transfer.
- Previous PICU experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
