Human Resources Assistant/Payroll
Monarch Home Services is currently seeking an experienced HR Assistant here in Bakersfield! This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. Our ideal candidate:

  • 2 years' experience as an HR Specialist
    • Timekeeping experience
      • Excellent verbal and written communication
        • Stellar attention to detail
          • Has a high level of accountability, ownership, and takes pride in their work
            Key Responsibilities:
            • Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel under the guidance of the Director of Human Resources.
              • Handle general employee relations for all Monarch Home Services' locations.
                • Enter data into the HRIS Database and review output for accuracy.
                  • Set up and maintain employee benefits, employment, and other files.
                    • Liaise with Worklogic on any employee issues.
                      • Assist with New Hire Orientation and Employee On-Boarding processes
                        • Track and audit all time off request for employees.
                          • Process and execute payroll for the organization.
                            • Monitor coding and meal breaks, review for accuracy and approve weekly employee timecards.
                              • Update Human Resource Forms and Procedures.
                                • Maintain employee files; Ensure 100% compliance
                                  • Track and update spreadsheets
                                    • Review timesheets/cards for accuracy and provide support to employees
                                      • Assist with bi-weekly payroll
                                        • Correct missed time
