learn more.WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE --The
Trainer--will assist the Cello shift supervisor with training
personnel and coordinating job functions in an effort to achieve
optimum safety, efficiency and productivity.
- Assist shift supervisor to direct, coordinate, and monitor
cello employees within the assigned Masterpack area
- Work with carrot handlers to maintain optimal bag quality and
ensure proper sorting techniques
- Works between scales monitoring quality and performing quality
checks as needed
- Assist in bag changes, monitor lines for any sizing issues
(light & heavy), and overall quality of product
- Assist production workers in carton/IFCO tray order
forming--
- Check chlorine levels, monitor end of line for production loss,
document unit changes for production
- Assist supervisor in employee rotation
- Communicate injuries, unsafe conditions, equipment
malfunctions, and quality changes to Supervisor or Plant
Manager
- Perform other duties as assigned--REQUIRED SKILLS AND
ABILITIES:

correspondence

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take direction from supervision

- Basic mathematical and computer skills--MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:--
- High School Diploma or equivalent; or six months to one-year
related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience--PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in food production/manufacturing
facility
- Prior working knowledge of OSHA, Good Manufacturing Practices
(GMP), FDA, USDA and EPA regulations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)--PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Environmental exposure- cold/wet conditions (40 -- or
below)
- Material exposure-moving mechanical parts--
- Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles and
vibrations--
- Must be able to lift, slide and carry up to 25 lbs.--
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time
