This position is responsible for the day-to-day administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the Human Resource department. Perform full employee onboarding and offboarding activities. Ensure company compliance with federal and state laws, including reporting requirements.Advise managers and employees on state and federal employment regulations, benefit and compensation policies, personnel procedures and classification programs.Prepare reports, such as organization and flow charts, and career path reports, to summarize job analysis and evaluation and compensation analysis information.Conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.Assist in recruiting by interviewing potential applicants in conjunction with the supporting manager.Assist with employee relations and performance management including employee coaching and counseling.Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, amount of sales or production, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations.Gather personnel records from other departments or employees.Examine employee performance to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.Answer questions regarding company policy, examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information.Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities.Request information from law enforcement officials, previous employers, and other references to determine applicants' employment acceptability.Perform other duties as assigned.Not Applicable.The ability to understand the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.The ability to understand human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.Demonstrates a systematic approach in carrying out assignments.
