As a Superintendent for PCL Industrial Services, Inc with our district office in Bakersfield, CA, you will contribute to our team by: * Oversees on-site construction activities and ensures project plans and schedule are followed and that the project is executed effectively, safely, and within budget. * Collaborating with project manager and project team on all aspects of the job. * Planning and implementing construction means/methods, schedules, productivity innovations, site logistics. * Proactively identifying, managing, and resolving potential problems, work conflicts, or schedule challenges. * Monitoring cost control and job costing, quantity reporting, forecasting, productivity. * On-site co-ordination of craft workers, materials and equipment. * Developing, monitoring and executing the project construction plan and schedule. * Supervising, training, coaching and mentoring field personnel. * Developing and maintaining strong customer focused relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers. * Developing, implementing, and maintaining PCL safety program, including creating and influencing jobsite safety culture through mentorship and modeling. What you will bring to the role: * A bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Civil, Welding) or Construction Management * In lieu of bachelor's degree relevant years of experience will be considered * Five (5) plus years of experience in supervision of construction projects PCL is an innovative, employee-owned company comprised of people who find passion in their profession and take pride in doing great work every day.
