Overview:
The purpose of Dignity Health Management Services Organization (Dignity Health MSO) is to build a system-wide integrated physician-centric full-service management service organization structure. Responsibilities:
This position's role as a first level developer is to maintain applications designed to support the business operations and participate in small scope development initiatives. This role is responsible for testing and maintaining web-based and mobile applications. Troubleshoots system problems and issues and looks for ways to improve the applications. Typically requires abachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience developing applications. Frequently has knowledge of common health care concepts, practices, and procedures. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. -1 Job Specific Duties1.1 Provide development support for application maintenance activities (request and incident).1.2 Complete limited repair of existing code, development assignments for small non-complex projects, create basic storedprocedures, and report requests.1.3 Apply knowledge of the healthcare industry and development best practice when providing development support servicesto Dignity Health's internal customers.1.4 Develop and deploy small applications in conformance with Dignity Health's SDLC and asset management policies andprocedures.1.5 Comply with all IT policies and procedures, and verify deliverables meet Information Security requirements.1.6 Participate in design, code, and test peer review sessions throughout life cycle to identify tuning/optimizationopportunities and issues.1.7 Participate in on call duties.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:A minimum of 1 year IT experience in a hospital or medical related industry; and 1 year experience managing small to medium application development in Microsoft IIS/.NET and IBM WebSphere/Java/Portal frameworks (required).Lab Analyst experience (preferred).Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or Business discipline or equivalent experience.Thorough working knowledge of relational database system and programmatic data access.Working knowledge of Web 2.0 framework is required.Training in and/or strong working knowledge of networks, virtual and physical server hardware, operating systems and their impact on application development and support; development frameworks: Microsoft .Net, ASP, IIS, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, SharePoint, IBM Java and WebSphere (Portal , Application Server, Message Broker), and Business Objects Crystal Reports; and Web monitoring and trend tools (required).NOTE: Training in and/or strong working knowledge of additional specific applications and systems may be required or preferred based on assignment. Consult with department management for specifics.A compensation range of $30.55 - $35.71/hr is the reasonable estimate that CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
