As an Executive Legal Assistant you will assist in document management of open legal actions and executive support for legal actions and insurance renewals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:+ Administration of litigation claims+ Administration of Company insurance policies and renewals+ Administration of monthly invoicing for legal, work comp, bonds etc.+ Calendar and organize monthly risk meeting+ Respond and ensure time response of all subpoenas+ Disaster claim administration+ Assist in the Bid process+ Prepare various reports+ Gather information from within the company using various means.+ Distribute litigation hold requests.+ Assist the Sr. Director of Corp Risk with litigation management.+ Track and calendar dates for settlements, mediations, discovery, depositions, and deposition preparations for trials and hearings+ Research case law on open matters.+ Prepare bankruptcy claims.+ Assist in preparing bankruptcy cases involving reliefs of stay, critical vendor matters, and preference claims.+ Interface with law firms' status reports and updates on files.What we offer:--- Advancing your career through company provided training and development --- A competitive base salary paid on a weekly basis--- Nine paid holidays and paid time off program--- Tuition reimbursement--- Employees also participate in excellent Benefits (http://www.rainforrent.com/) including: Medical, dental, vision and a matching 401k planWhen you join the Rain for Rent team, you will have the opportunity to make friends in the course of doing good business and can contribute positively to your community.
