Visit or follow us on, and to learn more. -WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE - -JOB DUTIESThe Painter will work in a food plant environment with ambient temperatures and cold following all GMP guidelines will work inside and outside on multiple projects. -Locate source of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
    • Preparing surfaces for painting using appropriate cleaning agents, sanding, sandblasting, and grinding.
    • Hazardous Waste Management
    • Identifies and applies correct primer and paint coatings to industrial surfaces using brushes and spraying equipment.
    • Ensures that all surfaces are properly prepped, coated, and dried before finishing the job.
    • Work in varying weather conditions: hot, cold, wet conditions.
    • Work in areas with large industrial equipment subject to high noise levels.
    • Works outdoors on uneven surfaces.
    • Paint walls, guard rails, pipe bridges, bollards, building columns.
    • Wear proper PPE when prepping surfaces and painting. -WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR -Minimum Qualifications: -
      • Must have the ability to perform basic calculations for paint mixing responsibilities. -
      • Mechanical skills
      • General maintenance skills
      • commercial painting background. -
      • Good verbal and written communication skills
      • Safety Conscious ability to obtain Lock out tag out, forklift license, fall protection and ariel lift qualifications. -
      • Good AttendanceAdditional Required Qualifications: -
        • Must have experience with surface prep on various materials, masking, and paint mixing.
        • Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, and paint application techniques.
        • Will have the ability to prepare and apply primers, paints, epoxy, and other surface coatings, using various application methods properly and efficiently.
        • Must have the ability to perform basic calculations for paint mixing responsibilities. -
        • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs. be comfortable with use of ladders and work in various positions, for example: crouching, kneeling.
        • Will work overtime when needed. -PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

            • Must be able to lift 50 lbsHours & Workdays:
