Job Description:

Artificial lift solutions company in Kern County is emerging as a company that provides commercialized technology products from a foundation of new technology research and development. We are seeking an Applications Engineering

Duties:

- A proven track record in Artificial Lift Engineering, in an Application Engineer or Field Engineer role

- An excellent communicator with customer facing skills

- Proven organizational abilities

- A self-starter who is able to work positively on own initiative, and with excellent team working skills

- Knowledgeable about quality, health and safety for field operations

- Knowledge of oilfield completions and intervention is desirable

Applications Engineering Responsibilities:

- Responsible as point contact for customer delivery, from sales order and /or contract through to handover to Field Operations Team for all the field trials (and commercial installations in the future)

- Responsible for selecting the drive train configuration and correct bill of materials to suit the application. Liaison with Engineering Department required to achieve this.

- Responsible for correct and appropriate selection of application specific items such as (but not limited to) Progressing Cavity Pumps, Variable Speed Drives, Cable and Wellhead Interface Equipment. Placement of shopping carts for the above items and liaison with purchasing and supply chain to enable procurement in a timely fashion.

- Develop core expertise in Progressing Cavity Pump selection and use to enable applications success.

Sustaining and Rapid Response Engineering Responsibilities:

-Liaison with field staff and production staff to resolve non-conformance instances leading to corrective engineering actions (product improvement and sustaining actions).

- Liaison with Application specific suppliers (e.g. third party PCPs, VFDs etc) to resolve non-conformance instances leading to corrective actions.
