Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring for a Grinder in Oxnard.
****Grind all parts down to specified thickness per customer work order.
Inspect and measure all raw and finished parts with calibers, and micrometers.
This is a full-time opportunity. --1st Shift --Monday through Friday.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Study job orders for information on specifications and tooling instructions, and to determine material requirements and operational sequences.
Move controls to set cutting speeds and depths and feed rates, and to position tools in relation to workpieces.
Start Grinders and observe operations to ensure that specifications are met.
Replace worn tools, grinding wheels and sharpen dull cutting tools and dies using bench grinders or cutter-grinding machines.
