Description Stuart House is an internationally recognized model
program created by the Rape Treatment Center to serve the special
needs of sexually abused children and their families. Stuart House
provides evidence-based, trauma informed, and culturally centered
therapeutic services.
As a Stuart House Advocate, you will provide crisis intervention,
case management, advocacy, and court-related services for children
who are suspected victims of sexual abuse and their families and
ensure coordination among the various agencies participating in the
Stuart House Program. The Child Advocate also works with an on-site
multidisciplinary team. Major functions and responsibilities are to
provide direct services to children and their families and foster
interagency collaboration to benefit child victims. The Child
Advocate also participates in providing RTC 24-hour on-call
services for patients reporting sexual assault 1-2 weekday
overnight on-call shifts per month.

* Only 1 position will be filled: # 12739 - Licensed Clinical
Social Worker (LCSW); 12740 - Clinical Social Worker 2; 12741 -
Licensed Clinical Psychologist 2; or 12742 - LMFT.
Salary range: $48.03-$57.40 Hourly Qualifications Requirements:
* Masters degree in Social Work or Social Welfare.
* California State Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
* Knowledge of bio-psycho-social development across all age groups,
especially children and adolescents.
* Knowledge of advocacy issues and case management of suspected CSA
cases.
* Bilingual language skills in both Spanish and English.
* Advanced knowledge of response to trauma, child trauma
intervention, family systems theory, and domestic violence.
* Ability to evaluate potential child, domestic, and elder abuse
situations and knowledge of legal requirements in completing
suspected abuse reports.
* Strong crisis intervention skills, and competence in assessing
suicidality and homicidality.
* Knowledge of the role and responsibilities of DCFS, law
enforcement, prosecutors, and criminal and dependency court system
in responding to CSA cases.
* Skill in multidisciplinary team coordination and
interdisciplinary collaboration.
* On-call responsibilities require schedule availability for work
one to two overnight shifts per month, and must be able to get to
our UCLA Medical center in Santa Monica within 30 minutes when
on-call.
