Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) Consultant to be part of
our growing ESG practice. The successful candidate will work with
Stantec's ESG team to further develop our service offerings in the
United States.Your Key ResponsibilitiesSubject Matter Expert in
CSR/ESG frameworks, strategies, rating systemsLead technical
delivery of ESG advisory projects globallyProvide technical
expertise on ESG issues, policies, guidelines, and requirementsBe
knowledgeable in ESG trends and best practicesIdentify, maintain,
and grow client relationshipsWork with Stantec's ESG leadership to
assess and track emerging client needs and develop technically
sound solutionsCollaborate across regions, sectors, and technical
practice communitiesLead and coordinate business development and
marketing effortsWrite proposals in collaboration with technical,
business development, and marketing expertsParticipate in key
events, meetings, and technical conferences for branding of
Stantec's ESG servicesMaintain local and state memberships at
professional ESG organizationsPeriodically travel for projects,
business development, and administrative mattersStrict adherence to
health and safety proceduresQualificationsYour Capabilities and
CredentialsStrong experience with sustainability frameworks
including TCFD, SASB, CDP, DJSI, and GRIStrong MS Office computer
skills; advanced understanding of PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
desiredAbility to work effectively and collaboratively with project
teams, employees, department management, contractors, and
consultants in a professional settingExcellent organization,
communication, and problem solving skillsStrong passion for high
quality of workAbility to communicate clearly and concisely, both
orally and in writingAbility to analyze data and prepare written
reportsAbility to quickly learn and apply new conceptsAbility to
work in a fast-paced consulting environment and handle multiple
assignments simultaneously, adhering to project budgets and
schedulesMust have a good driving record and valid driver's
licensePrior to employment with Stantec the candidate must
successfully pass a physical and drug/alcohol screeningEducation
and Experience--- BS in engineering, environmental science, energy,
climate science, sustainability, or related degree; MS/PhD a
plus--- 10 years of professional experience in ESG, sustainability,
