- THE ROLE: --Instrumentation Technician

learn more.WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE----The
primary function of this position is to test and repair
instrumentation systems utilized by production equipment to ensure
adherence to established performance levels and product quality.
Will monitor and control operating activities and perform
maintenance and repairs as necessary.
- Installs, maintains, repairs, overhauls, calibrates and tests a
wide variety of industrial instrumentation that record, indicate,
control and regulate level, flow, pressure, temperature, position
and water analysis
- Troubleshoots telemetry and process controller hardware,
maintains a functional knowledge of the operation of the telemetry
system software and hardware
- Makes periodic preventative maintenance inspections of all
metering control instruments, diagnosing existing or potential
trouble; cleans, lubricates, calibrates and adjusts as conditions
indicate
- Lays out, install and place into service new metering,
controlling and recording devices, calibrating as required; may
extend or connect related electrical circuits
- Coordinate the calibration of test apparatus and equipment
- Other duties as assignedWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR --Minimum
Qualifications:
- Must have 2+ years of electrical/instrumentation experience,
heavy emphasis on safety
- Valid California Driver License and clean driving record
- Ability to effectively operate and understand HMI/MMI
monitors
- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or similar (Trade
or technical school) is highly desirable
- Trade or technical school is highly desired
- 3 years of related experience preferredPHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to climb, bend and stretch
- Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, gases, inclement weather, cold
storage temperatures
- Must be able to lift 50 lbsHOURS & WORKDAYS:2nd Shift
(2pm-10:30pm), when business requires, overtime and weekends will
