Job Description Vista Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Emergency Medicine for a job in Porterville, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Emergency Medicine - Discipline: Nurse Practitioner - Duration: Ongoing - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Staff - Full-time or part-time 1099 position at a moderate volume ED with 50,000 annual visits - Open to nurse practitioners and physician assistants with emergency medicine experience - Night shift: 6p-6a - Average census of 115 per day - 24-hour access to lab, radiology, intensivist, respiratory and other support services - Compensation $135/hour for nights - Paid malpractice - Three-bedroom, three-bathroom home available for traveling providers - Enjoy the significant tax advantages of independent contractor status - Sunny dry climate with low cost of living - Mountain vistas and outdoor recreational options associated with nearby Sequoia National Park - Proximity to Fresno is 70 miles and Bakersfield is 50 miles
